Politicians are known for their shrewd ways of tackling matters. They master the art of playing with words and deceiving people. In case of Pakistani politicians, they it becomes very easy to judge their intentions.
They belong to the class where only money matters and the bank balance one has. They are always in search of learning and developing new ways of corruption and gulping people’s money down their throats. One of the current event or step in this regard and the topic on on-going heated debates is NRO (National Reconciliation Ordinance).
NRO is simply going to be just like a license for every corrupt person in Pakistan. Till date so many politicians have benefited from it; from the President to the self claimed GOD FATHER of democracy Nawaz Sharif and politicians from all parties. This is the biggest reason why none of the parties are showing the slightest intention of opposing its approval.
As our media loves to have talk shows about it and try to affiliate it to President Zardari only, it’s not the actual story. All political parties are equal share holders among the list of beneficiaries when it comes to NRO. Our politicians have never sincerely tried to benefit common people or the country. They are least bothered about all this stuff. What matters to them and cause pain to them is there money and bank balance. Their own luxuries and never ending list of desires for money is far superior and worth considering then being concerned about raising the living standards of the people, facilitating them with everyday needs like education, food, health, security and fighting poverty and terrorism.
If NRO got approved by the parliament it will become a law which means that any corrupt person or national thief does not have to worry now as ultimately NRO is there to save the day. No matter what they do they will end up being purer than a new born; after all their corruption is going to washed away with this legal approval.
