Security concerns at campus!

The overall situation in Pakistan is not at all good but educational institutions, the universities in particular are supposed to be peaceful. The recent arrest of a suspect and the entrance of a vehicle loaded with explosives in the campus is a major concern, especially for those on the campus.

Such a development raises millions of concerns in the minds of many. The administration needs to deals this serious issue immediately and effectively. The concerned authorities are trying their level best to keep thing calm in their limited resources. They should issue entry stickers or any such measure as is done effectively in cant area.

This will reduce the chances of any such thing to a greater extent. Lets hope the university administration pays attention to this matter seriously.

The Peshawar Cant (Cantonment) solution wont work on the campus as the campus is used as a network of routes for the adjacent settlements like Professors Colony and Lalazar etc. So the first step is to re-route such traffic. ONLY the campus vehicles should be allowed to pass thru. The campus staff should be made more vigilant and removed from the Administration big wig mansions. However, the big picture needs to be cleared, and thats the country is being engulfed by Taleban. Lets hope somebody can stop them, which I highly doubt!

i agree that the entire country is going through this situation and that is a bigger issue at the moment. lets hope for the best and be prepared for the worst.

At times saying somthing worth applying is taken into consideration.. for the university administration has followed the patern of Cantt entrance registration system and wil at least hav some positive out come, but there is no denyin the fact that alot and alot has to be taken into account for bringing about major reforms in the admn of the Peshawar university.

Well that is and has always been the core issue, educational institutions and heads had always been highly-politicized, this in turn give passage to corruption that flows into the main stream educational setup especially in higher education..
