The government’s decision of not bringing NRO in the parliament is a very clever act. By doing so, they have avoided facing the huge confrontation from all parties and public. The ruling party knows it very well that President Zardari has constitutional protection and in case NRO is completely wiped out his status won’t be affected at all.

On the other hand, politicians from the rest of the parties who benefited from it are going to face the music as all their closed corruption cases will reopen. NRO is one thing which turned all their wrongs into rights. It was their shelter under which all their corruption was legalized and lawfully protected.

There are reports that the ruling party has asked to hire Aitzaz Ahsan for their defense. He no doubt has brains and everyone knows he is capable of defending the government even if they are guilty.
Let’s see how time turn the events and how does these developments affect the government. Only with time things are going to clear up the strategy which PPP s going to adopt to secure their government.
